Become Rich and Famous with Your Own Web TV Show

Well… maybe not Rich, but you can become Famous!

A few days ago I logged into a site I’m a member of,  askMrVideo and Perry had a link to his askMrVideo Channel at Justin.tv.

At first, it seemed a bit weird that I was watching him. I felt like a Peeping Tom. He knew someone was watching him - as the Admin display lets you know how many people are viewing your channel - but until you register and log in, they do not know who is watching.

When you register, this allows you to chat with the channel owner - and they at least know who you are (your username - not your real identity).

Well… I chatted with Perry for a bit… asked him a few questions on a video project I’m working on - shared a few sites with each other, and I logged off his channel and went exploring.

While exploring and watching some of the channels on Justin.TV, one of  Jeff Foxworthy’s jokes popped into my head;

"If you ever think you have a screwed up family… just visit the State Fair."

If you had rather skip going to the Fair - just visit Justin.TV instead.

So they would not know who was watching, I logged out and went  into "Peeping Tom" mode to watch some of the freak shows.

First, I watched a chanel called "etard_webcam" - he had like 150 viewers when I started watching. This guy was talking about how he use to fight when he was a kid… the drugs he did - just off the wall stuff about his life, etc. I was amazed that he had 150+ people watching his channel… just goes to show people are easily entertained (have to admit - after watching him a bit it was becoming interesting seeing a guy spill his guts).

After I got bored with "etard" talking about how he use to fight all the time when he was a kid and the drugs he did - I decided to view a few more channels.

I’m not going to list them… but one of the channels was of a girl laying on her bed - watching regular tv and picking her belly button at the same time (Foxworthy’s joke came to mind with this one). Why in the world would you dig around in your belly button while the world can watch?

This channel was listed as one of the most Popular.

I clicked on another Popular link - laying in bed was a lady sleeping. Not sure why you would have a live feed of you sleeping… but to each their own I guess. Maybe it was for security reasons? Guess she could have some of her viewers call the police if someone tried to break into her place and grab her - just a thought.

I could go on… but I think you get my drift.

Now, anybody (or any idiot) can broadcast an Internet television show in real time - or you can record it for later.

Another site much like Justin.TV is ustream.tv - allows you to basically do the same thing.

All you need is a ten dollar web cam, broadband connection and obviously a computer - and you are on your way to becoming a Famous internet personality (famous for what is the question).

Here is a link where you can watch Perry’s askMrVideo channel. If you have any video related questions, he will answer them for you. Perry’s channel did not remind me of Foxwothy’s joke.

That’s it for now - but let me warn you. You can burn up a lot of time on these sites. So do not visit them if you have anything important or work to do.

Andrew  (or should I sign off as "The Peeping Tom"?)

Hello, I am a real newbie - but I have found a company that will enable you to broadcast with quality streaming video and still be low cost. There is no buffering (as seen in the video links above). Check out my link: http://www.golori.myphotomax.com Then go to the products tab which will lead you to maxcast. Off topic but also important to entrepreneurs is lead generation - there is a contest to win $10,000 for the one who can generate the most leads. Go to: http://agelessway.leadgenerationsecret.com
