Earlier today, someone I am currently coaching told me she appreciated all of the videos I put up on Search Engine Optimization, Product Reviews, etc… but now that she is working on a site – what does she do now?
As I do sometimes, I assumed she knew about Affiliate Marketing, how to research what products to sell – knew about Clickbanks Affiliate program, but she did not. In fact, she had never heard of Clickbank.
At first I thought this was odd – everyone knows about Clickbank, right?
Nope.
Those of us who’ve been involved with Affiliate Marketing for any length of time knows about Clickbank – but there are millions of people who never had any reason to know.
This reminds me of something Gordon Alexander said one time. Not a direct quote – but it went something like this;
“It just depends on where they are in the Parade.”
What he meant was that people are at different parts or stages of their lives – and constantly moving along the Parade per se. While one person is seeing the Marching Band play – someone else is watching the guys riding the unicycles.
A couple on their honeymoon may not be looking to purchase a crib today for their newly born child (because they do not have a baby yet)… but they may need one soon.
This same couple may not need to find a new job today – but they may need to tomorrow – again, just depends on where they are in the Parade.
This is the case with the friend I am coaching – she has never been in that part of the Parade – or stage in her life where she needed to know about Affiliate Marketing or Clickbank. She has always been happy working at her job (until it was gone), and never had a “need to know.”

This is a quick run through of Clickbank. Nothing fancy – just something I did in like 10 minutes while looking up a product I was wanting to promote (and buy). I will do another Clickbank video soon on how to choose products to sell and explain some of the terms they use (gravity, refd, etc).
I made an error in the video – I said something like they pay out 75 dollars, when it was supposed to be 75 per cent. Also… this video is a little smaller than the others – trying to do smaller videos but use the Zoom tool more.

Nice post. Though I have good experience in Clickbank affiliate marketing niche, I found some of the points in your videos interesting. Would like to view more of your videos. Thank you.

Well, it looks like the Podpress plugin is hosed with this version of wordpress – so videos (and audios) displayed on this blog using Podpress will probably not work – at least until they can come along with a fix – suggested code tweaking did not work for me.
