What is SEO? An Intro Video to Search Engine Optimization

Okay… here is the first video on Search Engine Optimization I promised.

For you new visitors to my blog, let me explain.

I was in the mortgage business for over 20 years… I have a lot of friends in the mortgage business who work for Countrywide Home Loans – who happen to be losing their jobs right now (I assume you watch the news and know why).

All of them know that I’ve been marketing on the Internet for a lot of years. I’ve mentored a few of them in the past on ways to generate some cash on the web – but now, many of them are either out of work or not making enough money to pay their bills.

I decided to start posting more on the “basics” of internet marketing for their benefit.

Before I start – lets clear up something right up front that many people do not seem to get.

The Internet is just a vehicle – much like televison, radio, print ads, etc to deliver a message. That is ALL it is.

The Internet gives you many advantages over the other “marketing medium” in many ways though. I will not get into all the advantages now, but I will in due time as this is really just a “getting started” post.

I decided to start out with SEO (search engine optimization) video to begin. I do not have any specific order or sequence of the videos I’ll be posting – one may be on SEO (the one below) and the next may be on marketing with Videos, etc.

So lets get started with the first video. I will post another one tonight.
